Introducing the Global Place Leadership Talent Alliance
Talent attraction has become essential to economic development and regional growth, with access to skilled talent playing a critical role in business location decisions. Furthermore, the competition to attract the best and the brightest is no longer only led by employers. Places across the world have entered the race in full force to position themselves as career destinations for global talent. Meanwhile the pandemic and remote work patterns have changed the playing field.
The Global Place Leadership Talent Alliance is a think tank of place leaders willing to share data, challenges and experiences in order to inspire each other to develop state of the art solutions benefiting each member, respective ecosystems and customers.
The Talent Alliance follows the successful 2020 establishment of the European Talent Mobility Forum where leading European entities formed an alliance to share best practices for places active in the human capital agenda. Now seeking to build a truly global alliance focusing initially on a “by invitation only” North American / European corridor.
Partner &Director of Talent Attraction, Future Place Leadership, Morten King-Grubert: “We have already selected what we deem are the public or public/private partnerships, who are both the thought leaders and frontrunners in Europe. Their openness to knowledge sharing and collaboration across regions in this exciting place branding and economic development industry is an example to follow. Now we are opening that door to North America.“
If you are inspired by the aspiration of the Alliance, please contact Morten King-Grubert to discuss potential membership of the alliance.
