With a strong profile in outdoors and adventure activities, as well as in vibrant niche industries, the region has a vision of becoming a top-of-mind destination for talents that are attracted by both an active lifestyle and job opportunities in the region.
Using our tried and tested model for Talent Attraction Management (“TAM”) as a starting point, we have been hired to develop new concepts and work modes in talent attraction that cater to the needs of both the region as a whole as well as the eight individual municipalities. We will also create a place branding platform that can be used by different stakeholders in the region when they attract talent.
The process began in August 2020 and will run until May 2021. We will carry out interviews and surveys with stakeholders and the target group, benchmark with leading talent destinations, train and inspire the stakeholders to take on new ways of working and, finally, create action plans and manuals for the further work.
To provide the best possible assistance to the region, we have built a consortium with three other professional, creative and leading consultancies and agencies. Our “dream team” is comprised of Placebrander, experts in place branding and place marketing, Gomorron Östersund, a co-working space and start-up community based in the capital of the region, Östersund, and Konceptstudion, an advertising and design agency also based in Östersund.
