Talent dashboard to address skills gap challenge of Berlin

We are excited to have joined forces with Berlin Partner for Business and Technology to pilot a Talent Intelligence Dashboard.
Berlin Partner as the business development agency of the state of Berlin supports companies in setting up and growing in Berlin with various services. To date, these services have mainly been related to welcome and visa services. Due to the influence of emerging technologies, Berlin’s labour market will change even faster in the future.
Therefore, Berlin Partner wants to react to this in its Talent Services division by developing a regional analysis tool. The goal is to develop an improved data driven skills / gap tool by assessing current and future local labour market needs piloted in the Digital Economy as well as deeper geo-segmented insights to global talents already in the region, their profile and decision making factors for coming to and staying in Berlin.
Says Morten King-Grubert of Future Place Leadership: “We see many regions struggle to find the right balance between more long term labour market forecasts and short term employer needs. The Talent Dashboard initiative of Berlin Partner is a great pioneering solution to address this challenge.”
