Helping Finland to attract and retain international talent

Finland is a world-leading country for talents. It ranked number seven in the Global Talent Competitiveness Index in 2020. More importantly however, Finland works hard and systematically on different levels to attract and retain international talent.
In 2019, the Government of Finland published a Talent Boost Cookbook Finland. This is a collection of projects that cities, regions universities and others do for Talent Attraction Management. Finland is unique for many reasons. One of them – she does and does a lot as a country to co-ordinate her international talent scene.
This is a part of the national Talent Boost programme and a sign how #FinlandWorks.
We are very proud and humbled to have had the chance to have written the first edition of the handbook. Now, in 2020 we are once again working with Business Finland and the Ministry of Labour and Economic Affairs to update the new version of the handbook.
